Bubbles! Bubbles!

EVERYONE loves bubbles!

Bubbles are just soap. Yep! Soap and a whole lot more! While the primary ingredient may be soap, bubbles are full of fantasy, fascination and Science!

But how much science can really be in a bubble? A lot, actually! Surface area, surface tension, geometry, evaporation, light waves and a whole lot more!

Will our students remember this stuff? Yes! Yes they will. It’s proven that when topics are presented in a fun and entertaining manner, the retention is much higher.

Bubbles: the soapy side of Science assembly show is a 40 minute experiential learning experience for students in grades K-8. Every student will see something done with bubbles they have never seen before as well as learn something about bubbles they didn’t know before. On top of that, Science facts about bubbles are shared throughout. Oh, and did we mention that the teachers will love this too? EVERYONE loves bubbles!

Watch as a caterpillar is made from bubbles. See a bubble rocket ship. Laugh at a dancing snowman made of bubbles. Be amazed as a teacher is put inside of a bubble!

Topics covered in the show:

  • Angles of bubbles
  • What makes bubbles pop
  • Why do bubbles have different colors
  • Why are bubbles round
  • Giant bubbles
  • Miniature bubbles

The exact content of each assembly will vary slightly based on the ages present.
